The next generation Slidebank is available NOW
As a trusted and reliable Presentation Management application, Slidebank has been around for over 12 years now. In Silicon Valley years, that’s about 84!
Over that time, we’ve delivered 80m presentation files, 200m slide updates and saved upwards of 8 years of company time. We hate wasted time, so that makes us really proud!
It’s safe to say we’ve delivered a service that our customers have had great value from. But if we’re honest, it hasn’t always been one they’ve loved. We hope with this new version, that will change.
Here are a few of your pain points we’ve worked to fix with Version 10…
You’ll now find all your Admin tools within the main interface. No more jumping between sites!
You hated switching interfaces
In the ‘old’ version of Slidebank, the Admin and User applications were separate. That meant Admins had to keep switching between the two applications if they wanted to do something as simple as creating a new folder. We hear you! It’s been painful!
If you’re an Admin, you’ll be relieved to hear that those days are gone! We’ve unified Slidebank into one simple interface, with all your Admin controls built in. We hope this will make your Admin lives much, much easier!
Slidebank was based on Flash!
When we set out on this exciting journey to revolutionise Sales and Marketing collaboration, Flash was a hero! Sadly, there comes a point when all great heroes need to retire, and that time is now.
Flash will cease to work completely in December 2020. That means so too will our old version of Slidebank. We’ll be upgrading your account to Version 10 ahead of that deadline. You’ll be pleased to know, the next generation version of Slidebank has no Flash at all.

You can now upload many files at once to your Slidebank site
File uploads were a bit of a chore
As you’re probably painfully aware, right now you’re uploading files into Slidebank one by one.
There are far better things you can be doing with your day, so now you can drag and drop a whole load of files into Slidebank to upload them simultaneously. You can even apply metadata, move files or change access permissions to many files at once. Oh, and they’ll all upload in the background so you can carry on working.
It was a bit opaque - for a collaboration tool
With the new Slidebank, you can see which files are trending, review sent emails to see who’s opened your files and ‘favourite’ your top presentations. We have more visual reporting, with interactive charts, and Admins can even impersonate other users to explore how they experience Slidebank. This is just the beginning of our enhanced collaboration journey. Watch this space.

The start of a new journey
With Version 10, we’ve kept all of the great features you rely on, but we’ve enhanced the way you’ll experience them and we’ve added some more on top.
Some of these new features include:
‘Slideshow mode’ for presenting directly from Slidebank
A personalised Homepage to show what’s trending
Video clip functionality
Create links to files for sharing outside of Slidebank, e.g. in Teams
Integrations with Slack and Cisco Webex Teams (currently in Beta)
A multitude of metadata field types (not just text boxes anymore)
Hands-on, in-app user support provided via Intercom
We’re really excited about this launch, and the roadmap ahead. This is just the start of our enhanced collaboration journey, and we’ll be partnering with our customers to build the future of Sales and Marketing enablement.

When do you want to come on board?
Slidebank Version 10 is available now, and we will upgrade your account for free!
To do this, we’ll give you a hands-on preview of what’s to come (we can create a Sandbox site for you), and partner with you on a migration timeline. When you’re ready to switch over, we’ll clone your existing site and data overnight, so when your users log in the next day, they’ll be working in Version 10 with all their familiar files and setup.
We can give you and your users additional training, although they may not want it. Many of our customers have taken to Version 10 like ducks to water!
Important - we HAVE TO migrate your site before December this year.
With the end of Flash being nigh, Slidebank Version 8 simply won’t work from December onwards.
